🔰 Personal opinion: ​I just finished Dear X, and honestly, it is dark, intense, and definitely not your typical Kdrama.

​Kim Yoo-jung is absolutely chilling as Baek Ah-jin. Seeing her play a woman who was so warped by a painful childhood that she turned into this cold, master manipulator is wild. She uses her beauty and constant lies like a shield for her fame, and it’s genuinely unsettling to watch.

Here You feel sympathy for the kid she used to be and the pain she endured. On the other side, you will simultaneously disgusted by the calculated choices she makes to stay at the top.
​The hardest part to watch is how the people who actually love her end up being the ones who suffer the most. It gives the whole story this heavy, tragic weight. Between the psychological mind games and the chemistry on screen, I spent every episode wondering if she would finally find a stop button or if she was just going to let everything burn to the ground.

​If you’re into stories that dive deep into the messy, darker parts of human nature, this one is going to stick with you for a long time. And personally i love this.
