Prabhas' 'Salar: Part One – Seizure' released exactly one day apart. This is the last film of Prabhas released this year. It was as if Prabhas played a game. Box office reports say that 'Saalar' has surpassed all the other big films of this year in terms of first day earnings.

The makers of 'Saalar' had earlier pushed back the release date to avoid competition with Shah Rukh's previous film 'Jawan'. But after 'Jawan', Prabhas finally faces 'Dunky'. Just a few days before its release, whispers were being heard that 'Dunky' has been given more importance than 'Saaler' in terms of screening in multiple multiplexes in the South. The number of shows of Prabhas' film has also been reduced due to priority given to Shahrukh's film. The complaint was made by a bunch of Salar manufacturers. Prabhas had the last laugh after that. This film has done around 95 crore business on the first day itself. A major portion of the income comes from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana in South India. About 70 crores of income has been received from these two states. 12 crores from Karnataka and 5 crores from Kerala.
