Our brother Taufique Ahmed Tamal is setting out on an extraordinary journey to conquer the world’s eighth highest peak, Manaslu (8,163 meters), in Nepal.
He will begin his expedition on September 1st, carrying with him not only his dreams but also the hopes of all of us.
As a symbolic gesture, the flag of our beloved Bangladesh will be handed over to Tamal on August 16 at 4:30 PM at Biswa Sahitya Kendra.
His unwavering mental strength, remarkable physical endurance, and deep love for the mountains inspire us all.
We stand with him in spirit and wish him every success in this daring adventure. May he reach the summit and return safely!
