Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on, her ideals continue to inspire, and her place in the hearts of millions remains forever.

Congratulations in advance, Mr. President, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. 🇧🇩

During some of the darkest and most difficult years in the BNP’s history, when the party faced immense pressure and uncertainty, you were one of the people who stood firm and helped hold everyone together.

As Secretary General, you carried an enormous responsibility with patience, loyalty and dignity. Through difficult times, you remained committed to the party, its leadership and its people.

Whatever one’s political views may be, that journey deserves respect.

In my view, few could be more deserving of the honour of serving as the President of Bangladesh. A statesman who has already given so much in service to his party and country. 🇧🇩
