নম্রতা বান্দার প্রতি আল্লাহর দেয়া একটি অসাধারণ উপহার। নম্র মানুষের মধ্যে অহংকার দানা বাধার আশঙ্কা কম থাকে। এই গুণ মানুষকে অন্যদের প্রিয় হতে সহায়তা করে। এটি অযথা হঠাৎ রেগে যাওয়ার রোগ থেকে বাঁচার জন্যও উপাদেয়।

আয়েশা (রা.) বর্ণনা করেছেন, রাসূল (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বলেছেন, ‘যাকে নম্রতার কিছু অংশ প্রদান করা হয়েছে তাকে দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতের বিরাট কল্যাণের অংশ দেওয়া হয়েছে। আর যাকে সেই কোমলতা হতে বঞ্চিত করা হয়েছে তাকে উক্ত ইহকাল ও পরকালের বিরাট কল্যাণ হতে বঞ্চিত করা হয়েছে’ (শরহু সুন্নাহ, মিশকাত হা/৫০৭৬)।

আল্লাহ তায়ালা আমাদেরকে নম্রতার গুণ দান করুন। আমীন।
