Dear brothers and sisters around the world,
We kindly ask: How much longer must our Rohingya brothers and sisters remain in Malaysian prisons?
Some have been detained for 5, 7, 8, even 10 years , not because they committed a crime, but simply because they are stateless refugees.
They fled genocide, persecution, and violence in search of peace and protection.
Instead of finding safety, they ended up behind prison walls.
Their only “crime” was trying to survive.
We respectfully ask:
Why are our leaders not speaking up?
Why is there no strong effort to work with the Malaysian government and UNHCR to resolve this injustice?
These men and women are our brothers, our sisters, our fathers, our mothers.
They have families waiting for them ,children who haven’t seen their parents in years, mothers whose hearts are breaking every day.
We are humbly calling on:
• Our Rohingya leaders ,please raise your voices.
• The Malaysian government ,please show mercy and compassion.
• UNHCR and international organizations ,please take urgent action to protect those who have already suffered so much.
Let us not forget them.
Let us not allow them to remain trapped in this hopeless situation any longer.
We are Rohingya. We are one family.
We kindly ask for your support and your voice to help free our innocent brothers and sisters.
