Why is it important to know the name and use of coffee machines?
1. For professional skill development
Different coffee shops have different brands and types of coffee machines (such as La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, Breville, Rancilio, etc.).
If you do not understand the type of machine and know how to use it, it will not be possible to make coffee properly.
2. To make perfect coffee
Espresso shots, steamed milk, foam, temperature control—everything depends on knowing the correct use of the machine.
If you use the machine incorrectly, the coffee will become bitter, burnt, or flat.
3. For advantage in the job market
You have to prove in interviews abroad or at domestic coffee shops that you know about the machine.
Not only knowing the name of coffee, but how to operate the machine is the real skill of a barista.
4. For machine maintenance and safety
If you do not know how to clean, backflush, scale removal, and steam wand every day, the machine will be damaged.
If proper care is not taken, the quality of the coffee will also be poor.
