This year, it seems to be, the competition is about controversial designs. Mercedes can finally breathe after having a brutal social session before Ferrari dropped Luce; the first ever Ferrari EV. This reminds about the time when they launched the LaFerrari, claiming they are not interested in EV cars - as rebuttal to not having a dedicated EV mode like the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Just because it's Ferrari who did it, I feel sense of bias to question, is the design philosophy changing for cars as we know it,? (I admit, I didn't ask that when MB GT AMG came out, I stated it bad design. The hypocrite in me.)
