ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এক রিসার্চ টিম ঢাকার সাভার ও ধামরাই উপজেলার দুটি খামার থেকে ১৮টি ডিমের নমুনা পরীক্ষা করে আন্তর্জাতিক সহনীয় মাত্রার চেয়ে Arsenic (64–217 গুণ বেশি), Chromium (88–150 গুণ বেশি), Lead (12–63 গুণ বেশি) পেয়েছে। রিসার্চ নমুনা খুব ছোট হলেও সারা বাংলাদেশের চিত্র একই। অনেক পরীক্ষা হয়েছে। রেজাল্ট একই। মুরগী ডিম আমাদের অন্যতম প্রোটিন সোর্স। বাচ্চাদের তো একমাত্র খাবার।

এবার আসেন মাছ। আর এক টিম রিসার্চ করেছে, ঢাকার আশেপাশের এলাকার তিনটি বাজার থেকে বাইম মাছ এবং পুটি মাছে 1. Lead (Pb) 21 গুণ বেশি 2. Cadmium (Cd) 10 গুণ বেশি 3. Chromium (Cr) 4.3 গুণ বেশি
4. Arsenic (As) 5.5 গুণ বেশি পাওয়া গেছে।

আমাদের প্রতিটি খাবারে বিষ আছে। সন্দেহ আছে কারো? পরীক্ষা করবেন? সারাদেশের মুরগী ডিম মাছ, চাল, আলু, শাকসবজি, খাবার পানির ল্যাব টেস্ট করেন তাহলে!!

অনেক পরীক্ষা হয়েছে। অনেক রিপোর্ট আছে। বিকার আছে কারো!! বিকার আছে সরকারের!!

বাংলাদেশে এমন একজন আমলা, কর্মকর্তা, বিজ্ঞানী, প্রফেসর, ব্যবসায়ী বের করুন তো দেখি, যিনি মাত্র একটা খাদ্য পণ্যকে নিরাপদ করে দেখাতে পারেন।

ঘরে ঘরে ক্যান্সার আর কিডনি রোগী।

একটা দেশ, একটা রাষ্ট্র একটা জাতি এভাবে চলতে পারেনা।

English Translation:

A research team from Dhaka University tested 18 egg samples collected from two farms in Savar and Dhamrai, near Dhaka. The results showed levels far exceeding international safety limits: 𝗔𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗰 (𝟲𝟰–𝟮𝟭𝟳 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿), 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 (𝟴𝟴–𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 (𝟭𝟮–𝟲𝟯 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿). Although the sample size was small, similar findings have been reported across Bangladesh in multiple studies.
Eggs are one of our primary sources of protein—especially essential for children.
Now consider fish. Another research team examined baim fish and punti fish from three markets around Dhaka. They found:

Is there any doubt left that our food is contaminated? Should we test it ourselves? If comprehensive lab tests are conducted nationwide—on eggs, fish, rice, potatoes, vegetables, and drinking water—what would the results show?
Many tests have already been conducted. Many reports exist. But is there any real response? Any accountability?
Find me one official, scientist, professor, or business leader in Bangladesh who can guarantee even a single food item is truly safe.
Cancer and kidney disease patients are now found in nearly every household.

A country, a state, a nation cannot continue like this.
