Several churches and temples in Dubai have temporarily suspended in-person services from April 3 in line with UAE safety directives.

Parishes across denominations are urging worshippers to stay home and avoid church premises until further notice.

St. Mary's Catholic Church announced that its Good Friday service will be streamed live on YouTube, allowing parishioners to join remotely.

Meanwhile, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church has also cancelled all masses with immediate effect.

The move reflects ongoing efforts to prioritise public safety and community well-being while ensuring worship can continue online during the temporary closure period.
