Elephants are vital to our ecosystem. Yet, their population is declining every year.

Wednesday’s World Elephant Day is an opportunity to honor these iconic animals, spread awareness about the threats they face and support solutions to help ensure their survival.

Here are some actions you can take to help protect elephants:

🔹 Learn about the status of wildlife and wildlife products.

🔹 Don’t invest in ivory as a commodity.

🔹 Support companies that demonstrate sustainable supply chains and environmentally responsible policies.

🔹 Spread the word and encourage others to get better informed about the threats faced by elephants.

Giraffes play a vital role in their ecosystems. By feeding on hard-to-reach leaves, they open up space for other animals to access food and help maintain the balance of plant and animal life.

But habitat loss and poaching continue to threaten these valuable species.
