𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑪𝒖𝒃𝒆𝒔 reimagines urban family living within a compact residential footprint. Designed for a multi-generational household, the project organizes rental apartments below and a private triplex residence above, creating a balance between shared and personal spaces. Through vertical voids, perforated screens, terraces, and integrated greenery, natural light and ventilation become central design elements. Exposed concrete and articulated structural expression establish a contemporary architectural identity while supporting climate-responsive living transforming everyday circulation into spaces of interaction, openness, and connection.

How do you bring abundant sunlight into a compact 180 sqm plot without losing privacy?
For this rural home, we reimagined the traditional uthaan (courtyard) and elevated it to the roof, creating a private, sky-lit sanctuary. Wrapped in locally sourced exposed brick and perforated screens, the house breathes naturally while keeping the family connected to both tradition and the surrounding greenery.
