Some films begin as a story. Some begin as a question.
EYES began with a belief.
For a long time, we have lived with a false divide between art house cinema and commercial cinema. I have never believed that cinema should be trapped inside these boxes. A film can be emotional, entertaining, thoughtful, urgent, and still reach people deeply. For me, that is always the dream.
EYES is special because it brings me together with Abdullah Mohammad Saad and Tanveer Hossain. The three of us come from different journeys, different instincts, and different ways of looking at films. That difference is exactly what makes this collaboration exciting for me.
Saad brings psychological depth, silence, moral pressure, and fragile human truth. Tanveer brings belief, persistence, and the producing vision to make this meeting possible. I bring my own instinct for pace, scale, emotion, and audience connection. Somewhere between these energies, I believe EYES can find its own language.
I am very happy to share that EYES, our film in development, has been selected for CoPro-Access Lab 2026. This feels like a meaningful first step for a project that we are carrying with a lot of care and excitement.
