My elder brother has always showered me with love; I do not wish to "repay" this by offering thanks. A sister and her brother do not share a relationship defined by debt. He has always selflessly extended the compassion and affection that an elder brother should show toward his sister. I will not thank him—instead, he and his family will always remain in my prayers. যাচ্ছে। তোমার প্রিয় ঋতু, অথচ দেখো, তুমি ভালো নেই। যে ঋতুতে তুমি সবচেয়ে বেশি হাসতে, এখন সেই ঋতুতেই তোমার চোখে ক্লান্তি, কণ্ঠে নিঃশব্দ বিষণ্ণতা।

কোন এক অজানা কারণে,
ধীরে ধীরে নিজেকে গুটিয়ে নেয়া
সবকিছু থেকে।

কমে যায় কথা,
কমে যায় নিজের চাওয়াগুলো—
নিঃসঙ্গতা তখন হয়ে ওঠে প্রিয় এক তীর।

এক অদ্ভুত নিস্তব্ধতা,
যেন একা থাকার মতো শান্তি
এই পৃথিবীতে আর কোথাও নেই।

হালকা হয়ে আসে বুকের জমিনে জমানো দীর্ঘশ্বাস।
নিজের ভেতর খুঁজে পাওয়া এক চেনা পৃথিবী,
যেখানে কোনো ছদ্মবেশ নেই, নেই কোনো মিথ্যে দাবি।
যেখানে হারানোর ভয় নেই, নেই কোনো সংশয়।।
