আজ আমি আমার জীবনের সবচেয়ে বড় অর্জনগুলোর একটি আপনাদের সঙ্গে ভাগ করে নিতে পেরে অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত।

যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের তিনটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পিএইচডি করার সুযোগ পেয়েছি—Clemson University (Teaching and Learning), Indiana University Bloomington (Curriculum and Instruction) এবং Kent State University (Curriculum and Instruction)। এর মধ্যে Clemson University এবং Indiana University Bloomington—এই দুই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকেই আমি সম্পূর্ণ অর্থায়নসহ (Fully Funded) পিএইচডি স্কলারশিপ অর্জন করেছি।

এই পথচলা মোটেও সহজ ছিল না। আমি একটি মধ্যবিত্ত পরিবারে জন্মেছি, যেখানে শিক্ষার সুযোগ ছিল খুবই সীমিত। অনার্সে পড়াকালীন অনেকেই বলতেন, পালি বিষয়ে (B.A. in Pali) পড়ে কোনো ভবিষ্যৎ নেই, বৈষম্যের শিকারও হয়েছি, আর বারবার শুনতে হয়েছে—আমি একজন মেয়ে, তাই আমার সীমাবদ্ধতা আছে। কিন্তু সেই কথাগুলো আমাকে থামিয়ে দিতে পারেনি। বরং আমি সেগুলোকে আমার এগিয়ে যাওয়ার শক্তিতে পরিণত করেছি।

আজ আমি গর্বিত যে, আমি পিএইচডি করতে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে যাওয়ার পথে। আরও বেশি গর্বিত যে, রাখাইন জাতি থেকে উঠে এসে আমি যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে পিএইচডি করার সুযোগ অর্জন করেছি, যেখানে উচ্চশিক্ষার সুযোগ দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই খুবই সীমিত। আমি আশা করি, আমার এই অর্জন অন্যদের জন্য নতুন সম্ভাবনার দ্বার খুলে দেবে এবং তাদের বিশ্বাস করতে অনুপ্রাণিত করবে যে স্বপ্ন সত্যিই পূরণ করা সম্ভব।

আমার স্বামীর এর অটুট সমর্থন ছাড়া এই পথচলা কখনোই সম্ভব হতো না। তিনি সবসময় আমার ওপর বিশ্বাস রেখেছেন, আমাকে সাহস দিয়েছেন এবং প্রতিটি কঠিন সময়ে আমার পাশে থেকেছেন। আমি আমার পরিবার, শিক্ষক, পরামর্শদাতা, বন্ধু এবং এই দীর্ঘ যাত্রায় যারা আমাকে সমর্থন করেছেন, তাদের প্রত্যেকের প্রতি আন্তরিকভাবে কৃতজ্ঞ।

আমি বিশ্বাস করি, আমি একজন যোদ্ধা। জীবনের প্রতিটি চ্যালেঞ্জ আমাকে আরও শক্তিশালী করেছে এবং দৃঢ় সংকল্প, অধ্যবসায় ও আশাকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে লড়াই করতে শিখিয়েছে।

এটি আমার যাত্রার কেবল শুরু। সামনের দিনগুলোতে আমার অভিজ্ঞতা, শেখা এবং পথচলার গল্প আপনাদের সঙ্গে ভাগ করে নেওয়ার অপেক্ষায় আছি। আমি আশা করি, আমার গল্প এমন কাউকে অনুপ্রাণিত করবে, যাকে কখনো বলা হয়েছে যে তার স্বপ্ন অসম্ভব।
কখনোই অন্য কাউকে আপনার সম্ভাবনা নির্ধারণ করতে দেবেন না। বড় স্বপ্ন দেখুন, কঠোর পরিশ্রম করুন এবং নিজের ওপর বিশ্বাস রাখুন। আমি যদি পারি, আপনিও পারবেন।

যারা আমার ওপর বিশ্বাস রেখেছেন এবং প্রতিটি পদক্ষেপে আমাকে সমর্থন করেছেন, তাদের সবাইকে আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ। আমার জীবনের এই নতুন অধ্যায়ের জন্য সবাই আমার জন্য দোয়া ও আশীর্বাদ করবেন।❤️

Today, I am excited to share one of the biggest milestones of my life. I am honored to have received PhD admission offers from three universities in the United States: Clemson University (Teaching and Learning), Indiana University Bloomington (Curriculum and Instruction), and Kent State University (Curriculum and Instruction). I have also been awarded fully funded PhD scholarships from both Clemson University and Indiana University Bloomington.

This journey has not been easy. I was born into a middle-class family with limited educational opportunities. I was often told that pursuing a B.A. in Pali had no future. I also faced discrimination and was reminded that, as a girl, I had limitations. Instead of allowing those words to discourage me, I turned them into motivation.
Today, I am proud to be on my way to the United States to pursue my PhD. I am even prouder to become a Rakhine woman from my community, where access to higher education has been extremely limited, to pursue a PhD in the United States. I hope this achievement opens doors and inspires others to believe that their dreams are possible.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my husband, Nea Jaw Rakhine who believed in me, encouraged me, and stood beside me through every challenge. I am equally grateful to my family, mentors, friends, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey.

I believe I am a warrior. Every challenge I have faced has made me stronger, and I have learned to fight with determination, resilience, and hope.
This is only the beginning of my journey. I look forward to sharing my experiences, learning, and growth with all of you. I hope my story inspires someone who has been told that their dreams are impossible.

Never let anyone else define your potential. Dream big, work hard, and believe in yourself. If I can do it, you can too.
