Magical lights on the sky warriors in golden hour ! Can you guess the airfield?

The airport was dedicated on 12 March 2005. It is not used by civil airlines due to a very low demand of the route. Currently Bangladesh Air Force using the airport for their training and regular ops.

Bomb Threat on UPS Flight!!!

Yesterday (28th September), flight 5X214 was cruising over the Atlantic when a bomb threat was made against the flight.

Flight 5X214 was forced to divert to nearby Reykjavik Airport.

A short while later, the Bleing B748 arrived on runway 10 and taxied to a remote part of the airport. Emergency services attended the aircraft.

Meanwhile, Reykjavik Airport closed and flights were seen circling and diverting to alternate airports.

Batik moments before touching runway one four !

The 737 Max 8 has become a regular visitor at Dhaka. After a long suspension of 20 months, the aircraft returned to skies as FAA says it is safe to fly. More than 30 airlines around the world have been flying Boeing 737 Max series including Batik Air. Batik Air operates 7 weekly flights to DAC from her home ground Kuala Lumpur.
