The Department of Journalism & Media Studies at Manarat International University is pleased to announce a specialised “Certificate Course on Fact-Checking and Verification.”
In the era of digital communication and social media, misinformation, disinformation, fake news, manipulated content, and deceptive videos have become major concerns worldwide. As these challenges increasingly affect society and public opinion, media literacy, fact-checking, and verification have become essential skills for media professionals, students, and responsible citizens. Fact-checking is also emerging as a highly demanded professional field globally.
Recognising the importance and urgency of this issue, the Department has taken the initiative to introduce this timely and industry-relevant course to develop practical verification skills and promote credible communication in contemporary society.
