It features the world's largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is near City Palace and Hawa Mahal.The instruments allow the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye.
The observatory is an example of the Ptolemaic positional astronomy which was shared by many civilizations.🌻🪔🦋

কাচ নৃত্য" বলতে মূলত দুটি ভিন্ন ধরনের লোকনৃত্যকে বোঝানো হয়: বাংলাদেশে ও পশ্চিমবঙ্গের একটি ঐতিহ্যবাহী লোকনৃত্য যা চৈত্র সংক্রান্তি উপলক্ষে দেবী-দেবীর সাজে পরিবেশিত হয় এবং 'লাল কাচ' বা 'ঢোল কাচ' নামেও পরিচিত।
