CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
Initiated by the HFF School of Film and Visual Arts, this program, named as ‘Praxis: Film and Visual Arts’, offers modules focusing on film theory, practice and visual arts. The program invites submission from the fresh graduates and early professionals working on the film, photography and multidisciplinary arts.

Objectives Of the Program:
Praxis: Film and Visual Arts will provide lectures on art history, film history, film theory, film language, project development and practical filmmaking. Alongside, the program will also invite filmmakers, photographers and multidisciplinary artists to discuss the mediums and their own practice.
The program will intake a total of 14 young Bangladeshi art/film practitioners who are either in their early years of professional career or fresh graduates, of which 9 will be from the indigenous communities.
By targeting the young professionals and fresh graduates, the program aims to introduce them with the crafts of the practice reflecting on the nature and theories of the mediums.

Submission Eligibility:
Age: 18-30, or who thinks this program will help them.
Language: Mother tongue and Bangla or English.

***No submission fee required. No course fee required. The curators of the program target to gather the participants together physically, at least twice, either in Rangamati or in Dhaka. The participant will require to attend these physical sessions at their own cost.
