🚀 STARTUP BOOST! 🇧🇩

Young entrepreneurs in Bangladesh are set to receive a major boost as Prime Minister Tarique Rahman announced government grants ranging from Tk 5 lakh to Tk 5 crore for promising startup ventures.

Backed by a Tk 500 crore allocation from the ICT Division, the initiative will provide collateral-free financing for first-time entrepreneurs through an independent evaluation committee. The government also pledged to give innovative startups another chance at funding if their first venture does not succeed.

The announcement came during the "Youth, Startups and the Bangladesh of Possibilities" event at the University of Dhaka, where the National Startup and Entrepreneur Platform was officially launched, reaffirming the government's commitment to expanding the startup ecosystem across Bangladesh.
