US-based Starlink has launched satellite-powered high-speed internet in Bangladesh with a new ground station at Rajshahi Hi-Tech Park.
The Tk 335 crore project, managed by Bondstine Technology Ltd, will create 3,000 jobs and boost Rajshahiโ€™s growth as a national tech and innovation hub.

Leesa Gaziโ€™s debut film Barir Naam Shahana has been selected as Bangladeshโ€™s official submission for the 98th Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.

Set in 1990s rural Bangladesh, the film follows Dipa, a young womanโ€™s struggle for independence after returning home from an abusive marriage abroad.

Actor Iresh Zaker, who plays Shukhomoy, expressed pride in representing Bangladesh, calling it โ€œa great honorโ€ and praising the teamโ€™s discipline and dedication.

The film premiered at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, winning the Gender Sensitivity Award, and continues to earn global recognition.
