One friend, holding another and not knowing if he’s breathing, not knowing if help is coming. Only knowing that he has to hold on.

This isn’t just a moment.
It’s everything that’s broken, and everything that’s still human.
If this doesn’t break your heart, I don’t know what will. May no friend ever have to go through such pain and helplessness.
May Allah be with the injured from this crash. May He grant peace to the martyrs, and strength to the ones who stayed behind to hold them.
Ameen.

Allah didn’t remove the sea for Musa.
He parted it.

Allah didn’t extinguish the fire for Ibrahim.
He made it cool.

Allah didn’t directly heal Ayyub.
He guided him to the water.

Allah didn’t place dates in Maryam’s hands.
He instructed her to shake the tree.

Allah doesn’t always take away our hardships, but He provides a path through them.

So when we seek relief, don’t be surprised if it comes with challenges to overcome. 🤍

একদিন আসলেই সব ঠিক হয়ে যাবে। একদিন আর কা'ন্না পাবে না, অসহায় লাগবে না, হাহাকার জাগবে না৷ সেইদিন হাতে থাকা কাপ কিংবা গ্লাসের কফি কিংবা রে'ড ওয়াইনে চুমুক দিতে গিয়ে আপনার মনে হবে একদিন সব ঠিক হওয়ার কথাই ছিল!

শুধু মাঝখান থেকে অসংখ্য সুখ হারিয়ে গেছে। এবং আপনি সেদিনও ভীষণ অবাক হবেন এটা ভেবেই যে, যে মানুষগুলো আপনার সাথে চরম অন্যায় করে গেছে দিনের পর দিন তাদের মধ্যে বিন্দুমাত্র অনুশোচনা নেই। তারা ভালো আছে, ভালো ছিল, ভালোই থাকবে। মাঝখান থেকে মানুষের জীবন হারাতে হারাতে আপনি একটা দানব হয়ে গেছেন!

জীবন কতটাই অনিশ্চিত!

বাইকের পেছনে ছিল স্ত্রী আর সাত বছরের সন্তান।

আব্দুল্লাহপুর, কেরানীগঞ্জ টোল প্লাজায় টাকা দেওয়ার সময় সন্তান বাবার কাছে আবদার করে, ‘বাবা আমি টাকা দিবো।’

বাবা সন্তানের হাতে টাকা দেয়!

ঠিক তখনই পেছন থেকে ছুটে আসা দ্রুত গতির বাস সবকিছু স্তব্ধ করে দেয়।

কাকতালীয় ভাবে ঐ বাবা বেঁচে গেলেও, তার চোখের সামনে মারা যায় স্ত্রী আর সন্তান।

ভদ্রলোক ঘটনার বিবরণ দিতে গিয়ে থেমে থেমে বললেন,

‘আমি তাকিয়ে দেখি আমার সন্তানের মাথার উপর দিয়ে বাসের চাকা চলে গেছে। আমার সন্তানের চোখ বেরিয়ে এসেছে , আর আমার বিবিকে চাকার সাথে বিঁধে টেনে নিয়ে গেছে।’ 😢😢
