Lotus Elise Has Had a £350,000 Makeover

The original Lotus Elise was built around a beautifully simple idea: make a tiny sports car, keep it absurdly light, and resist the modern temptation to bolt a fridge, a sofa and half a computer network into it. Analogue Automotive has now taken that recipe, removed even more of the unnecessary bits, added a lot more power and somehow arrived at a £350,000 price tag.

When Kia Bangladesh - Meghna Automobiles Ltd. invited us to check out their locally assembled Seltos crossover, the initial excitement was mixed with a dash of skepticism. After all, my previous experiences with locally assembled vehicles left much to be desired, especially thanks to a certain brand that will remain unnamed. But Kia—along with its corporate sibling, Hyundai—has evolved far beyond its budget car days, now standing as a tech-savvy, quality-focused automaker. With that in mind, I was curious to see if their Bangladeshi-built Seltos could live up to this new reputation.
