"Marloe Rain was a bright, joyful little girl whose laughter and dancing could light up any room. Her favorite movies, like Moana and Finding Nemo, mirrored her adventurous spirit—full of curiosity, music, and movement.But behind her smiles, Marloe faced a hidden battle. For months, she experienced fevers, vomiting, loss of appetite, and unusual bruising. After many tests, doctors discovered a massive tumor on her kidney. The diagnosis was a rare and aggressive malignant rhabdoid tumor, already spreading to her lungs.
Marloe underwent a grueling seven-hour surgery, losing her left kidney and part of her colon. Her post-surgery treatment included rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and hospitalizations for severe complications. She endured feeding tubes, resuscitations, and countless setbacks—but through it all, she kept dancing, moving to music, and bringing joy to those around her.
Her mother, Lacey, recalls, “She was handed a handful of life-threatening complications, and each time she fought so hard for her life. She was the single strongest person I know.”
Despite her courage and resilience, Marloe’s body eventually could not continue fighting. Her life ended too soon, leaving a profound impact on her family and everyone who witnessed her spirit.
