Among the traditional foods of the Garo people, one of the most delicious is Supru Khari. It’s a completely natural food, usually collected from local ponds and canals. In the old days, villagers used to gather it themselves, that earthy taste carried the true flavor of our roots.
Now, with time, things have changed, In city we mostly buy it from the market, costing around 50–100 taka per kg. Still, every time I eat Supru Khari, it feels like tasting a piece of my childhood again. 🌿✨
