বর্তমানে মার্কেটে Intel ARC GPU এর অনেক user রয়েছে এবং team Intel ও নিয়মিত তাদের update গুলোর মাধ্যমে new GPU issue গুলো fix করছে এবং optimization improve করছে। তারই একটা অংশ হিসেবে সরাসরি update দেয়ার পর অনেকেই নিচের দেয়া সমস্যাগুলো face করছেন। যেমন:

❌ Check for update failed
❌ Updating এর মাঝামাঝি অবস্থায় fail হয়ে যাওয়া।
❌ We timed out looking for updates.
❌ বার বার screen flickr করে আর display না আসা।

Even কোন error ছাড়া installation complete হলেও কিন্তু এই সমস্যাগুলো হয়। তাহলে সমাধান কি?

সমাধান হচ্ছে কোন update আসলে দয়া করে কেউ direct install দিবেন না। Dispaly Driver Unistaller (DDU) একটি additional software যার মাধ্যমে প্রথমে পূর্বের ড্রাইভারটি সম্পূর্ণরূপে আপনার computer থেকে uninstall করবেন, তারপর নতুন driver install করবেন। নতুন কোন Update আসার পর প্রথম কাজ হচ্ছে আপনি আগেই manually সেই version এর EXE ফাইলটা download করে নিবেন। তারপর current ড্রাইভারটি uninstall করা শুরু করবেন। আমি পুরো process-টাই সহজ ভাষায় লেখার চেষ্টা করছি, কারও বুঝতে সমস্যা হলে নির্দ্বিধায় আমাকে knock দিতে পারেন বা গ্রুপের অভিজ্ঞ বড়ভাইয়া আপুদের থেকেও help নিতে পারেন এবং যা যা প্রয়োজন সেগুলোর link গুলোও post এর সাথেই দিয়ে দিচ্ছি।
ধাপসমূহঃ
১. Screenshot-1 এ দেয়া link থেকে আপনার GPU অনুযায়ী DRIVER VERSION মিলিয়ে DOWNLOAD করে নিন।
২. DDU DOWNLOAD করে INSTALL করুন।
৩. এবার আপনার PC টি-কে SAFE MODE-এ restart করুন।
৪. SHIFT চেপে ধরে start menu থেকে RESTART-এ click করুন।
৫. এবার এভাবে আগাতে থাকুন, Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
৬. আপনার কমপিউটার restart হওয়ার পর F4 চাপলেই SAFE MODE-এ start হয়ে যাবে।
৭. এবার আপনার পূর্বে install করা DDU software-টি run করুন।
৮. DEVICE TYPE-এ GPU select করুন, DEVICE নিজেই INTEL select হয়ে যাবে।
৯. CLEAN & RESTART-এ click করুন। Restart হওয়ার পর নিজে নিজেই আবার normal mode-এ আপনার windows boot করবে। আলাদাভাবে কিছু করার প্রয়োজন নেই।
১০. এবার আপনি আপনার আগে download করা updated ড্রাইভারটি install করুন।

এভাবে করে full update procedure-টা executive করলে একটু কষ্ট হলেও দেখবেন আপনার ARC GPU একেবারে সুন্দরভাবে perform করবে কোন error ছাড়া।

আমাদের মাঝে অনেকেই আছেন যারা ARC GPU এর নাম শুনলেই হাপিয়ে উঠেন, হ্যা হাপিয়ে ওঠার কথাই কারন এধরনের কিছু optimization ARC ইউজারদের নিজেদেরই করতে হয়। তবে এটাও সত্য, দাম অনুযায়ী যা দিচ্ছে সেটা চিন্তা করলে এতটুকু ঝামেলো পোহানোটা যৎসামান্য।

Gamer দের জন্য এখন ARC GPU গুলো প্রায় ready-ই বলা যায়, আর Creator হয়ত আরো কিছুদিন অপেক্ষা করতে হবে এবং Intel Corporation এর মত একটা tech giant থেকে আমার নিশ্চিত প্রত্যাশা, creator দের editing issue গুলোও অতি শীঘ্রই fix করে দেবে তারা যেভাবে gamer দের সমস্যগুলোর সমাধান করেছে।
