অতীশ দীপঙ্কর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে কোরআন অবমাননার প্রতিবাদে শান্তিপূর্ণ সমাবেশ ও কোরআন শরিফ বিতরণ

নর্থ সাউথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এক শিক্ষার্থী কর্তৃক পবিত্র ধর্মগ্রন্থ আল কোরআন অবমাননার ঘটনার প্রতিবাদে অতীশ দীপঙ্কর বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে শান্তিপূর্ণ বিক্ষোভ সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

সোমবার (১৩ অক্টোবর) দুপুর ১২টায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গ্রাউন্ড ফ্লোরে সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্যোগে এই কর্মসূচি পালিত হয়। সমাবেশে বক্তারা ধর্মীয় অনুভূতিতে আঘাতকারীদের দ্রুত আইনের আওতায় আনার দাবি জানান।

কর্মসূচিতে বক্তারা বলেন, “যে ব্যক্তি বা গোষ্ঠী ধর্ম নিয়ে কটাক্ষ করে, তাদের কোনোভাবেই ছাড় দেওয়া যায় না। আমরা শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছি এবং ন্যায়বিচার চাই।”

সমাবেশ শেষে শিক্ষার্থীরা কোরআন শরিফ বিতরণ কর্মসূচিতে অংশ নেন।

কোরআন শরিফ বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠান এর উদ্বোধন করে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মাননীয় উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. মোঃ জাহাঙ্গীর আলম,এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন এগ্রিবিজনেস বিভাগের চেয়ারম্যান মোঃ মোশাররফ হোসেনে, সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ডিপার্টমেন্টের চেয়ারম্যান ইঞ্জিনিয়ার ড. জাবের আহমদ, জানালিজম এন্ড মিডিয়া স্টাডিজ বিভাগের কো-অর্ডিনেটর জোবায়ের আহমেদ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থী সোহরাব হোসেন ডলার, তরিকুল সানি, মিঠুন মিনহাজ, মো নাঈম হোসাইন

আয়োজনে ছিলেন অতীশ দীপঙ্কর বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থীবৃন্দ।
