European teams are miles ahead of other continents in terms of football. This tournament is just a big waste of people's time and players health.

These players had a long season. They need rest. Instead, they are playing a complete nonsense tournament with no practical importance. FIFA should be ashamed to host such a pointless cash grabbing tournament!!

Before you talk s**t about this Bangladesh football team, kindly stop right there!!

This team has suffered for a long time. No fan support, poor management, lack of quality players, and so on.

Now that they are on the right path. That doesn't mean they will not fail, they won't have ups and downs. Of course they will, it's inevitable.

We can constructively criticize the style of play, but we should not bash the entire football euphoria for this one loss.

We have struggled a lot to push football to a mainstream level. We cannot simply give up now and go back to cricket just like your toxic ex.

Instead, we must support them with all our hearts. It's so easy to let go, but equally difficult to hold on. Support this team, you are all they have.

Watched him closely throughout La Liga this season.

He was mostly vibrant throughout the season. But even in such massive season, there were few matches where you could feel Lamine was not into it.

In such days, he doesn't even tries to dribble, take on players, create crucial passes. He simply backpasses and rotate the ball.

In those matches Barcelona were either saved by Raphinha, Ferran or Pedri. So, his lack of intent wasn't so visible.

But I never thought I would see that version of him in a final like this. Today he lacked intent from the start to finish. Never actually tried to dribble, take 1v1, exploit the wing space or anything we often see from him. He was not in the game at all.

Nuno Mendis played well. But I wouldn't say he pocketed Yamal. There was actually nothing to pocket reallly. Yamal didn't try to go front with the ball once. He just backpasses it and let others take care of it.

If there was Hansi Flick, he would probably sub Yamal after 60 minute with such body language. But LDF kept him almost to the end of the match.

Can't blame him for such one off day when he had a long great season. He looked fatigued. All he needs right now is 2 month break from football. He has been through enough this season. Let the boy rest.
