US Moves to Control Iranian Oil
আমেরিকার নজরে ইরানের তেল

More than nine oil contracts worth over $2 billion have been signed between Iran’s Petroleum Ministry and private companies. These deals cover crude oil extraction and refining.
At the same time, talks are underway between Iran and the United States to sell Iranian oil exclusively to US companies. Reports say Iran may give up its nuclear program, stop military support to Russia, and end its influence in Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen as part of the discussions.

ইরানের পেট্রোলিয়াম মন্ত্রণালয় ও বেসরকারি কোম্পানির মধ্যে দুই বিলিয়ন ডলারের বেশি মূল্যের নয়টিরও বেশি তেল চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর হয়েছে। এসব চুক্তি অপরিশোধিত তেল উত্তোলন ও পরিশোধন কার্যক্রমের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত।
একই সময়ে, কেবল মার্কিন কোম্পানির কাছে ইরানি তেল বিক্রির বিষয়ে ইরান ও যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের মধ্যে আলোচনা চলছে। খবরে বলা হচ্ছে, আলোচনার অংশ হিসেবে ইরান তার পারমাণবিক কর্মসূচি ত্যাগ, রাশিয়াকে সামরিক সহায়তা বন্ধ এবং সিরিয়া, লেবানন ও ইয়েমেনে প্রভাব শেষ করার বিষয়টি বিবেচনা করছে।
