You know those moments when you just need to slow down a little? ☕️
For me, it’s usually a good cup of coffee. A few quiet sips, a little time with my thoughts, and somehow I feel a bit more balanced.

There’s something about being awake before the world starts moving.

Just me, my thoughts, and a quiet cup of coffee.

No rush, no noise—just a little time to breathe, reflect, and find my peace before the day begins.

Chikmagalur in my cup.

Today’s brew was from Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters—Kalledevarapura Estate, Chikmagalur, Karnataka.

Went with a simple pour-over, and the bloom immediately brought out a warm, sweet aroma. The cup was beautifully balanced, with brown sugar sweetness, delicate almond nuttiness, and soft raisin-like fruitiness. Smooth, comforting, and wonderfully clean.

Nothing overly complicated—just a beautifully crafted Indian coffee that made for a very satisfying cup.

Candy Crush : Balance in a cup.

Opened a bag I bought more than a month ago and somehow completely forgot about—Candy Crush from East Bengal Coffee Roasters, a blend of Guatemala and Honduras.

Pulled an espresso first: rich chocolate and caramel with Guatemala’s subtle citrus brightness and Honduras bringing a smooth, nutty sweetness. Balanced, rounded, and incredibly easy to enjoy. Turned it into a latte, and the silky milk brought out even more of that chocolate-caramel sweetness.

Sometimes forgotten coffee turns out to be the best surprise. ❤️

Liberica deserves attention.

Opened two new beans from Udoy Coffee today—a Liberica single origin and another one blended with Indonesian beans. The roaster mentioned finding jackfruit in one, but wouldn’t say which. Challenge accepted. 😄

I brewed the blend first, and there it was—distinct jackfruit sweetness, surprisingly clear without any co-fermentation. The Single Origin Liberica followed with beautiful floral aromas and a delicate, tea-like finish.
Two completely different cups, both fascinating in their own way.

A special shoutout to the Bangladeshi workers contributing their hard work on coffee farms around the world. This particular coffee came from a farm where Bangladeshi workers are working tirelessly. Huge thanks to Rassel, Polash, and Selim bhai. ❤️

My guess was right—this medium-dark roast really comes alive with milk. The richness and depth just hit differently.

New beans, new excitement.

Trying two new espresso blends from IZH Coffee Roaster today. Both are exciting, but the medium roast stole the show for me—smooth, balanced, and full of sweetness. The medium-dark roast brings a deeper, bolder profile that I think darker-roast lovers will really enjoy.
Pulled both as espresso, and the aroma alone made the tasting session worthwhile. Really excited to see where these new releases go, especially from a roaster who has been such a familiar name in Bangladesh’s coffee scene.
And yes, please forgive the editing—still learning! 😅
