Pathao, the leading digital service platform in Bangladesh, has donated BDT 2.5 million to the Chief Advisor’s Relief and Welfare Fund to aid those impacted by the recent floods. Employees voluntarily contributed a day's salary, which Pathao matched to double the total donation.

From September 1 to 15, Pathao will also allocate the safety coverage fee from each ride to flood recovery efforts, and match the accumulated amount, enhancing the support for affected communities.

In addition, Pathao has teamed up with BRAC and the As-Sunnah Foundation for extended relief efforts. Customers can support the cause by purchasing donation cards in various denominations via the Pathao app, with all proceeds going to BRAC and As-Sunnah Foundation’s flood relief operations.

Food Court Fines Rafsan the Choto Bhai Tk 16 Lakh for Unauthorized Drink 'BLU'.

Popular content creator Iftekhar Rafsan, widely known as 'Rafsan the Choto Bhai,' has been fined Tk 16 lakhs by the Pure Food Court for selling his unauthorized drink 'BLU.' Judge Alaul Akbar issued the order on August 28, mandating Rafsan to withdraw the product from the market within seven days. The drink, found to have no approval from relevant authorities, including the Drug Administration, has been at the center of legal troubles for Rafsan. A previous raid at the BLU Drinks factory in Comilla revealed that the product was being produced without proper certification, resulting in an additional fine of Tk 30,000 earlier this year.
