কবি নজরুল এর প্রেয়সী ও আমাদের তেওতা II Teota Zamindar's house
ইতিহাস ধোয়াশা বিষয় । কারন ইতিহাস লেখেন সবাই সবার মন মত । তেওতা জমিদার বাড়ি বিশাল এক স্থাপনা । শিবালয় উপজেলার আরিচা ফেরিঘাটের খুবই কাছে এবং পদ্মা নদীর গা ঘেঁষে প্রায় ৮ একরের উপর জমিদার বাড়ি । কথিত এই জমিদার বাড়ি প্রথম শুরু করেন পঞ্চানন সেন । পরবর্তী বংশধর এই জমিদার বাড়ির পরিধি অনেকটা বড় করেন । লোকমুখে ৩০০ বছরের পুরনো বাড়ি, তবে আমার কাছে, মনে হয় নাই , ১৫০ বছর থেকে ২০০ বছরের পুরনো হবে তেওতা জমিদার বাড়ি । তবে এই জমিদার বাড়ির বেশ কিছু বৈশিষ্ট্য অন্য জমিদার বাড়ির থেকে আলাদা করে , যেমন ব্যক্তিগত জেলখানা, অন্ধকূপ মানে আয়নাঘর , বিচার স্থান, বাঈজি খানা , নাট মন্দির, ৭৭ ফুট উঁচু নবরত্ন মঠ , জমিদার বাড়ি প্রবেশ পথে ১৫০ বছরের পুরনো খাজনা আদায় ঘর , যা এখন ধ্বংসের দ্বারপ্রান্তে । এই জমিদার বাড়ি ঘিরে আরো আরো ৬ টি মঠ পাওয়া যায়, যার মধ্যে ৪ টি এখনো বিদ্যমান । জমিদার বাড়ির পূর্ব দিকে ৫ একর জমির উপর দীঘি, শান বাঁধানো ঘাট আছে যা পরবর্তীকালে সংষ্কার করা হয়েছে । পরবর্তি সময়ে এখানে জমিদারি প্রতিষ্ঠিত করে জয়শংকর ও হেমশংকর নাম দুজন ব্যক্তি। ভারত বিভক্তির পর তারা দুজনেই ভারত চলে গেলে বাড়িটি পরিত্যক্ত হয়ে যায়। তবে এই বাড়ির পাশেই আমাদের জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম প্রথম স্ত্রী প্রমিলা দেবী বাড়ি ছিল । তবে প্রমিলা দেবী ছোট বেলা মানুষ হয়েছেন । কুমিল্লা তারপর কোলকাতায় । তবে মানুষের মুখে গল্প ঘুরে বেড়ায় এখানে কবি নজরুলের সঙ্গে প্রমিলার প্রথম দেখা হয় । আসলে এর কোন সত্যতা আমি পাই নি । তবে কবি নজরুল পরবর্তী তেওতা আসতে পারেন কারন তার শশুর বাড়ি এই গ্রামে ছিল । কোলকাতা থেকে যাওয়া জন্য হলেও এই গোয়ালন্দ ঘাটে আসতে হত । তবে তেওতা জমিদার বাড়ির চারিদিকে অসম্ভব সুন্দর এক গ্রামীন পরিবেশ বিদ্যমান । তাহলে ১০০ বছর আগে আরো সুন্দর ছিল । জমিদার বাড়িটির রক্ষণাবেক্ষণে প্রত্নতত্ত্ব অধিদপ্তরের I
History is a dirty subject. Because everyone writes history according to their own opinion. Teota Zamindar Bari is a huge establishment. It is very close to the Aricha ferry terminal in Shivalaya upazila and is spread over about 8 acres of land on the banks of the Padma River. It is said that this Zamindar house was first started by Panchanan Sen. The next generation expanded the perimeter of this Zamindar house a lot. According to people, the house is 300 years old, but to me, I don't think that Teota Zamindar house is 150 to 200 years old. However, several features of this Zamindar house distinguish it from other Zamindar houses, such as a private prison, a mirror room, a trial room, a Baiji Khana, a Nat temple, a 77-foot-high Navaratna Math, and the entrance to the Zamindar house. On the way is a 150-year-old tax collection house, which is now on the verge of destruction. There are 6 more monasteries around this landlord's house, 4 of which still exist. To the east of the landlord's house is a pond on 5 acres of land, There is a paved ghat which was later renovated. Later, two people named Jaishankar and Hemshankar established a zamindari here. After the partition of India, when both of them left for India, the house became abandoned. However, next to this house is our national Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam's first wife Pramila Devi was from this house. However, Pramila Devi became a person at a young age. Comilla and then Kolkata. However, people say that this is where Poet Nazrul and Pramila first met. Actually, I have not found any truth in this. However, the poet Nazrul could come to Teota after all because his father-in-law's house was in this village. Even if he had to leave Kolkata, he would have had to come to this Goalanda Ghat. However, there is an incredibly beautiful rural environment around the Teota Zamindar's house. It was more beautiful 100 years ago. The Department of Archaeology is responsible for the maintenance of the landlord's house.
