---Actor Jashim’s son, A K Ratul — the vocalist and bassist of the band Owned — has died of a cardiac arrest on July 27, 2025.

📰 Details:

A K Ratul, the vocalist, bassist, and sound engineer of the band Owned, and the son of late Bangladeshi film star Jashim, died on Sunday, 27 July 2025 at around 3:30 pm local time. He suffered a cardiac arrest while working out at a gym in Uttara and was later pronounced dead at Lubana Hospital .

Ratul was in his mid‑thirties. He was a founding member and frontman of the band Owned, which released its debut album One in 2014 and the second, Two, in 2017 .

His sudden and untimely death has deeply affected the Bangladeshi music community; fellow artists have expressed sorrow and offered condolences to his family .
