জীবন কখনো রঙিন ছিলো না, স্বপ্ন ছিলো রঙিন। স্বপ্ন দেখতাম। স্বপ্নগুলো রং ছড়াতো অবসরে, অবচেতনে, আনমনে। তবে যাচ্ছে দিন গুলোতে সে স্বপ্ন দেখার সামর্থ্যটুকু নির্বাসিত হচ্ছে বেনামী ধূসর খামে।

নাগরিক শহরের প্রতিটা রাস্তার মোড়ে অসংখ্য বোমা পাতানো আছে নাম না দেওয়া অভিমানে। সময়ে অসময়ে হাঁটতে কিংবা চলার পথে আমাকে বিভৎস গালিচায় সংবর্ধনা দেয় সাংবিধানিক বাধ্যবাধকতা মেনে।

জীবন অনিশ্চিত, ভবিষ্যৎ অধরা।
এই অনিশ্চিত অধরার মাঝে আমি নিশ্চয়তা দিয়ে বলতে পারি, আমার জীবনের সব থেকে সুন্দর দিনগুলো গত হয়ে গিয়েছে। ওরকম রৌদ্রজ্জ্বল ঝলমলে সূর্যের আলোর দেখা আর পাবো না। জীবন থেকে সুখ আর স্বস্তি দুটোই বিদায় নিয়েছে।

সুখ না ফিরুক, স্বস্তি অন্তত ফিরুক।
