Crockpot Cheesesteak Potato Casserole
Ingredients You’ll Need:
• 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced
• 4 cups potatoes, diced
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
• 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
• 1 cup beef broth
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare Ingredients: Get your slicing skills ready! Thinly slice the beef sirloin, dice up those potatoes, and thinly slice the onion and bell pepper.
2. Layer Ingredients: Time to stack the flavors! In your trusty crockpot, start by layering half of the diced potatoes, then half of the sliced beef, onions, and bell peppers. Repeat these layers until all your ingredients are used up.
3. Season: Let’s jazz up those flavors! In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Once mixed, pour this magical seasoning mixture evenly over the ingredients in the crockpot.
4. Cook: Now, let the crockpot work its magic. Cover it up and let it cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours. You’ll know it’s ready when the beef is tender and the potatoes are cooked through.
5. Add Cheese: Time for gooey goodness! Sprinkle that shredded provolone cheese over the top of the casserole during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Let it melt and become gloriously gooey.
6. Serve: The moment you've been waiting for! Once the cheese is all melted and bubbly, you can sprinkle some chopped fresh parsley on top for that extra touch. Serve it up hot and revel in the comforting flavors of this amazing crockpot cheesesteak potato casserole. Enjoy!
