Pop superstar Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has returned from a dark place, finding love and releasing one of her greatest albums: Mayhem.

For years, Stefani struggled. She once lived on "coffee and music," boasting of barely sleeping or eating, and suppressing the trauma of an alleged sexual assault at age 19. Her second album, Born This Way, was a huge success, but the critical backlash to Artpop and
her own internal struggles marked a turning point.

Despite huge successes like a Super Bowl performance, an Oscar win for A Star Is Born, and jazz albums with Tony Bennett, her psyche was unraveling (ভেঙে পড়ছিল).

During her Joanne tour, she had what she described as a psychotic break (মানসিক ভাঙ্গন). She had to cancel the tour, saying, "I feel really lucky to be alive" (বেঁচে থাকতে পেরে আমি ভাগ্যবান).

Her return to health was greatly aided by her fiancé, Michael Polansky, a Harvard-educated entrepreneur who only ever calls her Stefani. She says, “Being in love with someone that cares about the real me made a very big difference.” Polansky helped her find the "real me" and reclaim her music. He told her her life was precious (মূল্যবান) and "was not a party."

She admits past relationships were rooted in "daddy issues," but with Polansky, “none of my tricks were gonna work on him” (তার উপর আমার কোনো চালাকি কাজ করবে না).
His stability provided the anchor she needed. He is now credited as a creative partner on her new album and tour, with their collaboration being a true partnership.

They are planning to get married soon (তাড়াতাড়ি বিয়ে করবেন) and are excited to become parents. “Being a mom is the thing I want the most,” she shared.

Her new album, Mayhem, is a triumph, reclaiming her full "Gagatude". It's nominated for seven Grammys, including Album of the Year. She sees it as the result of "months and months and months of rediscovering everything that I’d lost."

The album and the accompanying Mayhem Ball tour center on an intense internal battle (অভ্যন্তরীণ যুদ্ধ). The show features her alter-ego, the Mistress of Mayhem, which represents the "most egocentric side of me, a side of being Gaga that I really loathe." She battles this dark side onstage, embodying the struggle she faced while recording the album.

Even with her newfound health, she still experiences panic before shows. When she emerges atop the giant dress, she has to talk herself out of a panic attack for 90 seconds. But when the choreography for her hit "Abracadabra" begins, "The rehearsal of self saves me" (নিজের মহড়া আমাকে বাঁচায়).

Ultimately, Lady Gaga, the woman who once said she'd be "fully Lady Gaga forever," now feels relaxed (স্বচ্ছন্দ) about it all. “I am Lady Gaga,” she asserts. “It’s just me.”
