Before you pray for a dream life like mine, understand the consequences:
1. Learn to control your tears for the day when you’ll see your parents’ hairs turning gray slowly
2. Fear of missing out
3. Everytime you eat somewhere good, you will think, i wish my family was here
4. Don’t move to a country with visa complications.
5. The constant fear of a sudden call from your home country. Always praying for their good health
6. Some months, your pockets might be empty, but you will still need to have a happy face during calls so that they don’t worry
7. The self push of becoming successful before your parents turn too old
8. Learn to control yourself when you’ll see your parents don’t walk in the same speed.
9. Never compromise/ adjust to social needs. But Sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice to build yourself up in a way to have an empire ready for your family.
10. You can’t be instantly there with them at their medical emergency needs.
11. Once you take that flight, there’s no looking back.
12. You will be super successful in life, but nothing is more luxurious that a simple day with your family.
