"त्रिगुण मार्ग"

एक बार की बात है, गंगा के किनारे एक छोटे से गाँव में एक युवक रहता था - उसका नाम अयन था। वह शांत और विचारशील था। अयन के मन में तीन प्रश्न घूमते रहते थे - धर्म क्या है, कर्म क्या है और माया इतनी आकर्षक क्यों है?

अयन एक गरीब ब्राह्मण पुत्र था। पिता की मृत्यु के बाद संसार का भार उसके कंधों पर आ गया। सुबह वह पूजा-पाठ करता, फिर गाँव के लोगों की ज़मीन पर काम करके थोड़ा-बहुत कमाता और रात को माँ के साथ बैठकर चावल खाता और सो जाता।

एक दिन गाँव के मेले में उसकी मुलाक़ात एक संत से हुई। संत की आँखों में गहरी शांति थी, उनकी बातों में गहराई थी।

अयन ने पूछा, "पिताजी, मैं धर्म का पालन करता हूँ, कर्म करता हूँ, लेकिन माया मुझे नहीं छोड़ती। मैं किसका अनुसरण करूँ?"

संत ने धीरे से मुस्कुराया। उन्होंने कहा, "धर्म तुम्हारे भीतर से आता है, कर्म तुम्हारा बाह्य प्रयास है, और माया? यह जीवन का रंग है। माया का त्याग करते ही जीवन शुष्क हो जाता है। लेकिन यदि तुम माया के गुलाम बन जाते हो, तो तुम अपना मार्ग खो देते हो।" अयान को आश्चर्य हुआ, "तो मैं क्या करूँ?" संत ने कहा, "नदी की तरह बनो। धर्म तुम्हारा स्रोत होगा, कर्म तुम्हारा प्रवाह होगा, और माया तुम्हारे किनारों पर उगने वाले फूल होंगे - तुम देखोगे, लेकिन पकड़ोगे नहीं। तभी तुम्हें मार्ग मिलेगा।" उस दिन से अयान का जीवन बदल गया। उसे अब संकोच नहीं रहा। उसने समझ लिया कि जीवन का सत्य केवल धार्मिक अनुशासन में नहीं है, केवल कर्तव्यों को पूरा करने में नहीं है, या केवल संसार के मोह में नहीं है - सत्य संतुलन में छिपा है। अंतिम शब्द: मनुष्य जीवन भर मार्ग खोजता रहता है - कभी धर्म में, कभी कर्म में, तो कभी माया में। लेकिन मार्ग तभी स्पष्ट होता है जब वह स्वयं को जान लेता है।

“What is the purpose of my birth? Why was I born?” You must ask yourself this question again and again. You must also have some concern about whether you will reach the goal of your birth. “Why do we keep sinning?” is a problem that always worries us. “Why do we get angry? And why do we desire this and that? Can’t we remain always happy without sinning, without anger and desire?” We do not seem to know the answers to these questions.

The fruit is formed from the flower, first in the tender unripe form and finally in the mellow form. The flower smells fragrant to the nose and the ripe fruit tastes sweet to the palate. The mellow or ripe fruit is full of sweetness. How did the fruit taste before it became ripe and sweet? The flower was bitter, the tender fruit was astringent, the unripe fruit was sour, and the fruit that is mellow now is sweet. Peace means sweetness. When there is peace all attachments sever themselves. When the heart is all sweetness all attachments disappear. There is attachment only so long as there is sourness. When you pluck an unripe fruit from a tree there is sap in the stem as well as in the fruit. It means that the tree is not willing to part from the fruit and vice versa.

But when the sweetness is full, all the ties will be snapped and the fruit will drop to earth by itself. The tree releases the fruit or From Action to the Actionless State the fruit frees itself from the tree. The separation is without any tears and happy [there is no sap]. Similarly, step by step, a man must become wholly sweet like a mellow fruit and free himself happily from the tree of samsāra, the cycle of births and deaths. Desire, anger, and so on, are necessary stages in our development like bitterness, astringency, sourness, and sweetness in the growth of a fruit.

आत्मा ज्ञान की वाहक है और ब्रह्म उस ज्ञान का स्रोत है। ब्रह्म की अनुभूति आत्मा के माध्यम से होती है जब व्यक्ति अपने अस्तित्व को माया से मुक्त करने में सक्षम होता है। इस प्रकार, आत्मा और ब्रह्म के बीच का संबंध मानव आत्म-खोज और मुक्ति का आधार है।👣
