When Teletalk introduced 3G video calling, its campaign chose not to make the technology the hero. Instead, it told the story of a girl using sign language, turning a technical feature into a powerful symbol of communication, inclusion and emotional connection.

The campaign highlights an important lesson for brands: technological innovation becomes more memorable when audiences can see its human value. Teletalk showed that the strongest technology stories are not always about what a product can do, but about how it can bring people closer.

For Bangladeshis who grew up in the late 1990s and 2000s, Choc Coin was more than a chocolate treat. Its shiny gold wrapper made every piece feel like real treasure, turning an ordinary two-taka purchase into childhood currency. From mudi dokans and school picnics to Eid celebrations and birthday goodie bags, the gold-wrapped coins became a defining part of childhood nostalgia.

But Choc Coin did not disappear because it was discontinued. Rising import duties, supplementary taxes, foreign currency restrictions and inflation made the Thai confectionery increasingly expensive, while cheaper local and Indian alternatives took over neighborhood shelves. Today, the once pocket-money-friendly treat has shifted toward online candy stores, wholesale markets and modern retailers, where nostalgic adults buy entire tubs to reclaim a little piece of their childhood.

Long before influencer marketing and viral reels, Pepsi created one of Bangladesh’s most memorable brand collaborations by partnering with rock legend Ayub Bachchu.

At a time when Bangladeshi band music was shaping an entire generation, the campaign captured the energy, confidence, and spirit of youth. Rather than simply featuring a celebrity, Pepsi aligned itself with a cultural icon, making the advertisement feel more like a celebration of Bangladeshi music than a traditional commercial. The campaign remains a powerful example of timeless branding: great campaigns do not simply borrow a famous face - they connect with culture at the right moment.

Ayub Bachchu represented far more than rock music. He represented the aspirations, attitude, and identity of an entire generation. Years later, the campaign is remembered not merely for promoting a soft drink, but for becoming part of Bangladesh’s cultural memory.

Apple has expanded its "Relax, it's iPhone" campaign to billboards across the United States, featuring everyday scenarios where iPhones are splashed, soaked, chewed by pets, or covered in mess. Rather than highlighting technical specifications or directly mentioning competitors, the campaign relies on familiar real-life situations to reinforce the device's durability.

The campaign demonstrates a powerful brand strategy: influence perception without direct comparison. By avoiding explicit claims against Android or rival smartphones, Apple encourages consumers to draw their own conclusions, reinforcing confidence in the iPhone while showcasing the effectiveness of subtle, competitor-free marketing.

After years of zero-fee transactions, India's UPI ecosystem could be on the verge of a significant policy shift. Proposed legal amendments may open the door for merchant discount rates, with officials exploring a 0.3%–0.5% MDR on selected transactions.

The timing reflects the sheer scale of the platform, which processed 23.6 billion transactions totaling ₹29.9 trillion in July. While the final structure is yet to be announced, the move could reshape how digital payment services are funded and sustained in one of the world's largest real-time payment networks.

Milgrad has challenged traditional packaging design by focusing beyond individual products and transforming the entire supermarket shelf into an interactive brand experience.

Created by Depot, each milk carton reveals only a part of a blue cat illustration, which comes together when multiple cartons are placed side by side. The innovative approach turns everyday dairy packaging into a memorable customer interaction, making shoppers stop, engage, and recognize the brand instantly. Milgrad’s concept proves that effective packaging is no longer just about product protection, but about creating visual storytelling and unforgettable moments at the point of purchase.

Mercedes-Benz Mexico’s “Nature or Nothing” campaign gained attention for its visually striking concept, transforming natural elements like leaves, flowers, and tree patterns into the brand’s iconic three-pointed star. The campaign highlighted a vision where luxury and sustainability could exist together, but quickly became the center of a greenwashing debate.

Environmental advocates and marketing critics questioned whether the eco-friendly messaging aligned with Mercedes-Benz’s broader environmental impact, particularly its continued production of conventional vehicles. In response, sustainability platform WhereFrom and creative agency 10 Days London released a parody campaign featuring oil spills, wildfires, and damaged landscapes. Mercedes-Benz later clarified that the campaign was created specifically for the Mexican market and was not intended as a global initiative.
