সুখ কি তা বোঝার জন্য প্রথমে সীমাহীন দুঃখকে ডাকতে হবে, যন্ত্রণা কমাতে হলে কষ্ট বাড়াতে হবে। যে কোলাহল জানে না সে কখনই নীরবতা বুঝতে পারে না। জীবনের সবচেয়ে কঠিন জিনিসগুলির মধ্যে একটি হল পরিবর্তন। সাফল্য বা ব্যর্থতা, প্রেম বা ঘৃণা, রাগ বা অহংকার, লাভ বা ক্ষতি, বন্ধু বা শত্রু - পরিবর্তন এত সহজ নয়।
