Undergrad: written test (plus viva for certain programs).
Graduate: mainly viva voce.

United International University (UIU) won two runner-up positions at the 1st S.N. Bose National Science Festival, organized by Brac and Biggan Adda. Teams Protein Powder and Zero_Point_Zero_One, representing UIU, won first runner-up positions in the "Scientific Poster Presentation" and "Innovation & Display" segments. Protein Powder's project, "Portable Braille Printer: Empowering Visually Impaired Individuals Using Affordable Means," aims to provide a low-cost solution for visually impaired individuals.

Final scores for the University Rover Challenge (URC) 2025 have been published on the official URC website. Competition took place from May 28 to 31, 2025, at the Mars Desert Research Station in Hanksville, Utah.

Notably, UIU Mars Rover Team from United International University in Bangladesh achieved significant recognition. They were honored as the World's Best Science Team, secured the 1st position in Asia for the fourth consecutive year, and ranked as the 6th best team overall.

(𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠) - Data science is a rapidly growing field in information technology, with Bangladesh's United International University (UIU) playing a leading role in developing skilled human resources for the 21st century. The program, developed by a combination of academic and industry experts has at least 16 full-time faculty members, many with PhD degrees in related subjects.

The university's Brain Computer Interface Lab offers well-equipped labs and computing training, earning the department's robotics team the title of best in Asia. The program focuses on developing skills in machine learning, complex data exploration, and analytical work. The program is coordinated with industry and has several lab facilities, dedicated research labs and industry partnerships.

URC one of the world's most popular robotics competitions is held annually in Utah's desert terrain inviting student teams to engineer and construct the next generation of Mars rovers.

Hackathon supported by the Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Development Project (DEIED) of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and ICT ministry brings together top innovators to develop AI-driven solutions for high-value health systems.

2025 theme 'Building High-Value Health Systems: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence' will engage leading universities and research institutions worldwide. Notable hubs this year include Harvard University, the University of Sydney, King's College London, Koç University, Tsinghua University and NTU Singapore.
