Purbachal Expressway

Purbachal Expressway (Bengali: পূর্বাচল এক্সপ্রেসওয়ে) is a 12.5-kilometre-long (7.8 mi), eight-lane-wide avenue expressway in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This expressway connects Purbachal to eastern Dhaka.

There is no doubt that the purbachal 300 feet Road is one of the most beautiful roads in Purbachal New Town, Dhaka.

The construction of the Purbachal Expressway started in the hands of RAJUK in 2005.

As this expressway connects Kuril Bisshoroad and Kanchan Bridge, it has 2 bridges that span across Tongi Khal and Balu river. Plus, this particular expressway has 5 intersections as well.

The major benefit of this Purbachal expressway is that it acts as a super fast gateway to enter or leave Dhaka city.

An expressway named Dhaka Bypass Expressway will connect Gazipur and Narayanganj district through Purbachal Expressway. Seven stations of MRT Line 1 will be built on the expressway. The proposed two link roads will connect the expressway with Madani Avenue.
