When I was in school, I didn’t have many friends. I would sit alone in the corner during lunch break, watching others laugh, play, and talk. Some students seemed so powerful — not because they were stronger, but because they could talk to anyone easily.

One day, our teacher gave us a group project. At first, I stayed silent, thinking my ideas didn’t matter. But then one teammate asked me, “What do you think?”
I hesitated, but I shared a small idea. Everyone liked it! For the first time, I felt heard.

After that day, I started saying small things like “Good morning” to my classmates, asking them simple questions, and slowly joining their conversations.
Week by week, my confidence grew. I discovered that communication is like exercise — the more you practice, the stronger you get.

Today, I can talk to new people without fear. I learned that good communication is not about being loud, it’s about connecting with others step by step.

Moral:
Shyness can hold you back, but communication is a skill — anyone can learn it with practice. Start small, and your confidence will grow.
