উত্তরা মাইলস্টোন স্কুল এন্ড কলেজ ভবনে প্রশিক্ষণ বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় পাবনা ক্যাডেট কলেজের এক্স ক্যাডেট। পাইলট ফ্লাইট লেফটেন্যান্ট তৌকির ইসলাম সাগর ইন্তেকাল করেছেন। প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে ক্যাডেট তৌকির আজই প্রথম বিমান নিয়ে একাকী উড়াল দিয়েছিল।
আজ ছিল ফ্লাইট লেফটেন্যান্ট তৌকিরের সৌল অফ ফ্লাইট ট্রেনিং (Soul Of Flight Training)

সৌল অফ ফ্লাইট ট্রেনিং হলো একজন পাইলটের ট্রেনিংয়ের সর্বশেষ ধাপ। ফাইটার জেট অপারেট করার জন্য একজন পাইলট যে হাই স্কিল্ড, সেটি'ই প্রমাণিত হয় সৌল অফ ফ্লাইটের মাধ্যমে। ট্রেনিং-এর এপর্যায়ে পাইলটকে নেভিগেটর বা কো-পাইলট বা কোনো প্রকার ইন্সট্রাক্টর ব্যতীত একাই ফ্লাইট অপারেট করতে হয়। ফ্লাইট লেফটেন্যান্ট তৌকির আজ সেরকমই একটি ট্রেনিং ফ্লাইট অপারেট করছিলেন।

যেকোনো প্রকার ট্রেনিং ফ্লাইট সিভিলিয়ান এরিয়া থেকে দূরেই হয়ে থাকে, তবে সৌল অব ফ্লাইট সাধারণত আর্বান এরিয়াতেই হয়ে থাকে৷ আর আর্বান এরিয়াতে এধরণের সেন্সিটিভ ফ্লাইট অপারেট করার জন্য পাইলটকে যথেষ্ট কোয়ালিফাইড হতে হয়। ফ্লাইট লেফটেন্যান্ট তৌকির তেমনই একজন পাইলট। তো ট্রেনিংয়ের লক্ষ্যে তৌকির তার এফ-৭ বিমান নিয়ে কুর্মিটোলা পুরাতন এয়ারফোর্স বেস থেকে টেক অফ করেন। এরপর উত্তরা, দিয়াবাড়ি, বাড্ডা, হাতিরঝিল, রামপুরা'র আকাশজুড়ে তিনি উড়তে থাকেন। তবে কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই তিনি বিমানে কিছু সমস্যা আঁচ করেন। কন্ট্রোল রুমে রিপোর্ট করে জানান যে তার বিমান আকাশে ভাসছে না, মনে হচ্ছে বিমান নিচের দিকে পড়ে যাচ্ছে। কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে ইন্সট্যান্ট রেসপন্স করে ইজেক্ট করার জন্য জানানো হয়। কিন্তু সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের সাথে কথা বলে যতটুকু জানা সম্ভব হয়েছে: ফ্লাইট লেফটেন্যান্ট তৌকির শেষ মুহূর্ত অব্দি চেষ্টা করেছেন বিমান বাচানোর জন্য। তিনি বিমানটির সর্বোচ্চ ম্যাক স্পিড তুলে বেসের দিকে ছুটতে থাকেন। এর মধ্যেই কন্ট্রোল রুমের সাথে পাইলটের যোগাযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে যায়। তার ঠিক এক থেকে দেড় মিনিটের মধ্যেই বিমানটি নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে উত্তরা মাইলস্টোন স্কুলে বি*ধ্বস্ত হয়।
