ল্যাপটপ কিনে না দেয়ায় যে মেয়েটি তার বাবাকে ঘুমের মধ্যে ছু'রি দিয়ে একটানা ১৩টি স্টেপ মা'র'লো শরীরের বিভিন্ন অংশে, তার বাবা এখন ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি।

এমতাবস্থায় তার বাবা পুলিশকে অনুরোধ করলো, "স্যার আমার মেয়েরে থানায় নিয়েন না দয়া করে, অন্ধকার ঘরে সে ভয় পাবে, বাচ্চা মানুষ ভুল করেছে। তার সামনে ভাসির্টির এডমিশন পরীক্ষা। তার ভবিষ্যত নষ্ট হয়ে যাবে, চাকরি পাবেনা আর। আমার মেয়ে টারে ছেড়ে দিয়েন, আর তাকে বইলেন, যদি আমি বেঁচে থাকি, তবে এই মাসের বেতনটা পেলেই আমি তারে নতুন ল্যাপটপ কিনে দিবো। আর যদি মা'রা যাই, আমার আলমারিতে আমার জমানো ৪০ হাজার টাকা আছে, সেটা তার হাতে দিয়ে বইলেন, তার পছন্দের ল্যাপটপ কিনে নিতে।"
