বয়স বাড়ার সাথে সাথে দায়িত্ব বাড়ে,হতাশা বাড়ে,সেই স্কুল জীবনে ফিরে যেতে ইচ্ছে করে।।।।।

যখন প্রতিবাদ করেছিলাম, তখন সবাই পাশে ছিল। আজ সবাই চুপ।

প্রথম ঘটনার কথা মনে আছে? একজন মেয়েকে রাস্তায় টিজ করা হলো। তখন বলেছিলাম, ‘আমার বোনের গায়ে হাত কেন?’ প্রতিবাদ করেছিলাম, কারণ ন্যায়-অন্যায়ের পার্থক্য তখন স্পষ্ট ছিল।

আজকের ঘটনাটাও প্রায় একই—একটা মেয়ের গায়ে হাত। এবার শুধু টিজ নয়, তার হাত-পা ভাঙা, মাথায় ৬ ইঞ্চি সেলাই। কিন্তু আশ্চর্যের বিষয়, যারা সেদিন অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে সোচ্চার হয়েছিল, আজ তারা নীরব। কেউ লিখছে না। এমনকি মেয়েরাও নয়।

এটাই বাস্তবতা। এটাই সিলেক্টিভ সিম্প্যাথি।
একদিন যেটা নিয়ে গলা ফাটিয়েছিলাম, সেটাই আজকার দিন ভুলে গেছে সবাই।
এ কারণেই হয়তো সেদিনের অনুতাপ এখন কেটে গেছে। কারণ সিলেক্টিভ নৈতিকতা আমাদের মস্তিষ্কে গেঁথে গেছে।

সত্যিকারের পরিবর্তন কি আসবে? নাকি এভাবেই চুপ থাকবো?

জাগো, নইলে অন্যায়ের ইতিহাস তোমাকেও ভুলে যাবে।
