O Life! How cruel you often are!
Can't you be the plant that I always water?
Can't you be the melody of my favorite song?
Can't you be the window through which I see beautiful scenes?
What would be the problem if you were the rooftop where I could watch the moon?
O Life! Be all those beautiful things that make my heart smile.
Be a reason for me to love LIVING; otherwise, set me free from your endless cruelty.
