The 1960s saw the construction of Kaptai, Bangladesh's largest man-made lake.
When visiting the lake, you can tour the surrounding areas by renting a boat or speedboat from the reserve market in Rangamati. The most well-known excursion is the 90-minute boat ride to Shuvalong Falls, which is lovely.
