Artisan Hosneara delicately stitches a folk motif into cloth, crafting a Nakshi Kantha at her workshop in Sonargaon, Narayanganj. A self-taught artist with over 25 years of experience, she carries forward the centuries-old Bengal tradition of embroidered storytelling. Depending on the intricacy of the design, each kantha can fetch anywhere from Tk1,200 to over Tk10,000.
