দেশের ৬৪ জেলায় সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয়ের উদ্যোগ ও অর্থায়নে 'জুলাই স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ' স্থাপনের অংশ হিসাবে আজ বুধবার (১৬ জুলাই) বিকালে মুন্সিগঞ্জ শহরের লিচুতলা এলাকায় পরীক্ষামূলকভাবে 'জুলাই স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ' স্থাপনের কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়েছে। শীঘ্রই অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন সরকারের উপদেষ্টার উপস্থিতিতে এটি উদ্বোধন করা হবে বলে জেলা প্রশাসন সূত্রে জানা গেছে। ছবি: আমার বিক্রমপুর।
