🚨| ম্যাচের শেষ কোয়ার্টারে ক্লান্ত ডিফেন্স নিয়ে কোরিয়ার মতো গতিময় দলের বিপক্ষে হাই লাইন ডিফেন্স বজায় রাখায় রীতিমতো উ'ড়ে গেলেন বাটলার!

হাই লাইন ডিফেন্ডিং স্ট্র্যাটেজি স্বাভাবিকভাবেই অনেক বেশি এনার্জি কনজ্যুম করে। তাই দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে কোরিয়ার ইন্টেন্সিটির সাথে পেরে উঠেনি বাংলাদেশ। এমতাবস্থায় পিটার বাটলার এপ্লাই করতে পারতেন প্ল্যান "বি"। ম্যাচ সিচুয়েশন অনুযায়ী, জমাট ডিফেন্স রেখে কাউন্টার অ্যাটাক ছিলো একমাত্র অপশন। বিশেষত যখন আপনার ডিফেন্ডাররা ক্লান্ত, প্রতিপক্ষ ফরোয়ার্ডরা তুলনামুলকভাবে অনেক বেশি গতিময়।

তবে শেষ পর্যন্ত একগুঁয়ে স্ট্রাটেজিতেই খেলালেন দলকে। ফলাফল - ২/১ স্কোরলাইন‌ শেষমেশ হয়ে গেলো ৬-১। সিনিয়র এশিয়ান বাছাইয়ে মিয়ানমারের বিপক্ষেও একই ভুল করেছিলেন বাটলার। তবে মিয়ানমারের গোল মিসের মহড়া, গোলবারে বাধা আর রুপনা চাকমার অতিমানবীয় পারফর্ম্যান্সে সে যাত্রায় উতরে যায় বাংলাদেশ। ঋতুপর্ণা চাকমার ইন্ডিভিজুয়াল ব্রিলিয়ান্সে ২ গোল - এশিয়ান কাপে পৌঁছে বাংলাদেশ দল।

আগামী বছর এশিয়ান কাপের আগে রিয়েলিটি চেক পেলেন বাটলার। বড় দলের বিপক্ষে হাই লাইন ডিফেন্স করার মতো ডিফেন্ডার বাংলাদেশে নেই - এটাই ধ্রুব সত্য। সিনিয়র এশিয়ান কাপে উত্তর কোরিয়া বা চীনের বিপক্ষেও এমন একগুঁয়ে ট্যাক্টিক্সে খেললে ডাবল‌ ডিজিটে গোল হজম করার‌ শঙ্কা জাগছে বাংলাদেশের। 🇧🇩
